In this GQ interview of Shohei Ohtani, I was able to identify たりたり, と思う, ~し, lots of new and old vocabulary, and longer, complex sentences. I was able to pick out い and な adjectives, how Shohei used non-native verbs ("texting"), counters (10本).  Culturally, I noticed a difference, with the help of the comments section, that Shohei's 大切なessentials are all purposeful, leading him to become a better athlete. If you were to look at other American athletes, not many would have nearly all their essentials geared towards making them a better athlete, at least in my opinion.

 たぶん、一番こわいことはひこうきに乗り遅れた時だと思います。最初に初めて、朝早くおこしなかった ー alarm を 聞こえなかったから、ずっとあさねぼうをしました。それから、くうこうに行こう時、電話をかけたウーバーを待ちすぎました。そして、くうこうに着いた後で、持って行くものがわすれました。その物は　ジャケットと薬でした。“今日はさいあくの日だねー”だと思いました。でも、だいじょうぶです。その日はさいあくの日じゃなくて、こわい夢でした。

I really like this song ! I have no clue how I stumbled upon it, but it is now in my regular rotation. I was able to pick out individual letters but I was not able to understand the song without the  lyrics pulled up, but even then I still don't understand. Regardless, I am on the lookout for more music by Fujii Kaze.   

私が一番好きな車は、ポルシャーの９１１です。とてもれきしなモデルで、iconicーくて 丸いなヘッドライトがあります。私の 一番好きなジェネレーションは９６４で、それから９９１がつぎです。 ９６４は 4-Wheel Drive をさいしょに使ったモデルですが、９９１は新のほうです を買いたいです 。ノートダムの後で、海軍の時で９６４か９９１ を買いたいです。たぶんみどりにぬっていて、タイヤの色を金色になっていて、５Speed maunal がほしいです。Even though ９６４はドイツですの、ジェームズ　ボンドのようだと思います。（Even though it is German, it still reminds me of James Bond)　 時間がある時、 このきじ を読んでくれませんか？あなた達はどんな車が好きですか？
